Alex P. Hamilton

Mr. Hamilton joined Jesup & Lamont in July 2007 and brings more than a decade of Wall Street experience. Prior to Jesup & Lamont, Alex worked as a Senior Analyst at such small boutiques as the Benchmark Co., IRG and Advest. Prior to those boutiques, Alex worked on the Institutional Investor-ranked team focused on North American and European aerospace and defense stocks at both Credit Suisse and Morgan Stanley. He earned a BA in Economics from Brandeis University. He is a member of the National Defense Industrial Association and is frequently quoted in the press and appears on television.






Robert M. Wasserman

Mr. Wasserman has over seventeen years experience in equity research, specializing in the areas of health care with a unique focus on companies in the Southeastern US and Florida. Among the areas Mr. Wasserman has covered are pharmaceuticals, medical devices, healthcare services and biotechnology. Mr. Wasserman has analyzed and written on over 100 publicly traded health care companies. Prior to joining Jesup & Lamont, Mr. Wasserman was Director of Research at Skye Capital, and Senior Research Analyst for Craig-Hallum Capital Group and Vice President - Research and Partner for Southeast Research Partners/Ryan Beck. Prior to entering the securities industry, Mr. Wasserman was a management consultant with Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co., now KPMG Peat Marwick.

Mr. Wasserman was selected All-Star Healthcare analyst for 2000 by the Wall Street Journal, and has appeared in number of media outlets, including Business Week, Forbes, The New York Times and CNBC.

Mr. Wasserman received his Masters of Business Administration degree in Finance from the University of Chicago and dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Management and Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.



Brian C. Yerger, CFA

Brian C. Yerger, CFA, is a research analyst covering the Alternative Energy industry for Jesup & Lamont. Mr. Yerger has over 15 years of experience in the financial industry providing consulting and advisory services to high net-worth individuals, endowments, pension plans, and 401(k)s. Prior to joining the research department, Brian provided internal banking analysis and institutional equity analysis for the Delaware office.

Brian holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Delaware. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a member of the CFA Society of Philadelphia. He holds the following series registrations: 7, 63, 65, 86, & 87.

He is frequently quoted in such financial media outlets as Barron's™, Bloomberg™, Forbes™, and The Wall Street Transcript™, as well as presenting expert on the industry at such forums as the CFA Society of Philadelphia and CompositesWorld.

Currently, Brian publishes from our Mid Atlantic regional office in Wilmingston, Delaware.

 

 

 

Brian S. Postol

Mr. Postol joined Jesup & Lamont in February 2008 and brings 18 plus years of Wall Street Experience. Prior to Jesup & Lamont, Brian worked as a Vice President, Senior Analyst at A.G. Edwards & Sons following the retail sector. Mr. Postol was one of 10 Wall Street research analysts (all industries) who appeared on Fortune magazine's 2001 "All-Star Analysts" list. He also was selected for The Wall Street Journal's "Best on the Street" analyst survey in 2001 - placing 3rd among 73 analyst - and 2006 - placing 1st among 58 analysts - for stock picking. Brian received his Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Tulsa and Master of Business Adminstration from Saint Louis University.

 

 

 

 

 

Richard C. Nelson

Rick Nelson has been involved in special situations equity research coverage (primarily Business Services and Industrial Technology) and convertible securities research for over 20 years. His background includes 10 years at Kidder, Peabody & Co. where he was voted #1 by Greenwich Survey for convertible securities research. From 1991 to 1994 Rick served as a Senior Vice President of Convertible Securities Research where he was voted #2 by for convertible research by Institutional Investor two years running. After Lehman, Rick spent seven years at Furman Selz (subsequently acquired by ING, then ABN Amro) where he provided convertible research, equity research and served as liaison for convertible capital markets. From 2002 to 2005 Rick worked at Morgan Joseph & Co., where he generated equity and convertible securities research.  From 2006 to 2008 Rick held the position of Director of Equity, Convertible and High Yield Research with J Giordano Securities Group.

Rick holds a BA Degree from Valparaiso University (Indiana) and an MBA degree (Finance) from the Frank Zarb School of Business at Hofstra University (Long Island, New York).

 

 

 

 

Kenneth J. Siri, CFA

Mr. Siri covers the medical device industry for Jesup & Lamont.  Prior to Jesup, Mr. Siri covered the sector for J Giordano Securities.  He was also an analyst at Deutsche Asset Management covering micro, small, and mid-cap health care equities, and at Monument Funds Group covering medical science and technology equities.  A Chartered Financial Analyst, Mr. Siri holds a BA degree (Finance) from The George Washington University and a MBA degree (Finance) from The American University.
