Ed CabreraExecutive Managing Director Ed Cabrera has worked on Wall Street for over 20 years with investment banks such as Merrill Lynch, PaineWebber and Raymond James & Associates. He has held many positions including investment banker, equity analyst, market strategist and portfolio manager. Since 2003, Ed has been focused on providing advisory services and capital market access for emerging companies. Currently, Ed is Head of Investment Banking and Co-Head of Capital Markets at Jesup & Lamont, one of the largest broker-dealers in the rapidly-growing South of the United States. Jesup has over 340 financial consultants in 48 retail offices and 6 institutional desks that trade for over 800 institutional clients throughout the world. Ed worked at Merrill Lynch for 11 years as Managing Director and Head of Latin America where he built the top ranked team for the region, according to Greenwich Associate surveys and Latin Finance magazine polls. He was selected for the 2000 Millennium edition of Who's Who in Finance and has been named to the All-America team by Institutional Investor for the quality of his work. Ed has an extensive technical and educational background. He received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Florida in Engineering and Material Services where he graduated with Honors. After undergraduate, General Electric hired Ed where he worked in the materials laboratory and in the manufacturing operation. Ed left General Electric in 1985 and graduated from Harvard Graduate School of Business with an MBA in 1987. Ed has been often quoted in the Wall Street Journal, CNBC, and New York Times for his views.
William CorbettSenior Managing Director William Corbett has spent the last 22 years on Wall Street, starting his career at Bear Stearns in 1985. He soon became Associate Director and Manager for the Retail Sales force in San Francisco. Bill has held Managing Director positions at Paine Webber and Lehman Brothers as well. As the Founder and CEO of a boutique Investment Banking firm in San Francisco for over ten years, Mr. Corbett successfully built it into one of the leading private placement firms in the country. He has completed over two billion in banking transactions in Private Placements; PIPES and Reverse Mergers. He holds a BS in Business from the University of the Pacific. In 2005, he was inducted into the University of the Pacific Hall of Fame for collegiate golf. Bill is active in numerous charities and community boards. Bill is responsible for Private Placements and Reverse Mergers at Jesup & Lamont.
Daniel NicholasManaging Director Mr. Nicholas is a twenty-five year veteran of Wall Street and a leading authority in the energy and power field. Dan began his career on Wall Street in 1982 when he joined the Dreyfus Corporation as an energy and technology research analyst. By the mid-1980's Dan was recognized by Institutional Investor magazine as one of the leading energy analysts and he joined Salomon Brothers, Inc. first in research and later in investment banking. Dan joined W.H. Reaves & Co. by the early 1990's, where as a partner he was responsible for one of the largest energy and utility equity portfolios. Dan became Chief Executive Officer of Foresight Research Solutions a pioneering energy and power broker/dealer. Upon the sale of Foresight, Dan joined Pali Capital to run its Alternative Energy / Clean Tech investment banking practice. He is a graduate of Cornell University.
Alejandro OchoaVice President Alejandro Ochoa has over 10 years of experience within the financial services arena, having worked at firms such as Morgan Stanley, Prudential Securities, and Raymond James. Dedicated to Latin America, Alex has facilitated Correspondent Agreements with financial institutions throughout Latin America which have facilitated cross-border investments and market penetration to his firms. His areas of expertise include mining and real estate. His educational background includes a Bachelors of Science in Finance & International Business from Florida International University.
Daniel HoldenManaging Director Daniel Holden is Managing Director of Investment Banking, specializing in Energy (traditional/alternative), Oil and Gas, Clean Tech financing. He has worked on Wall Street for 37 years, in investment banking, executive management and head of private placement trading and sales with such firms as Kidder Peabody, Morgan Stanley Dean Witter, Prudential Securities, ABN-AMRO and Nomura Securities. He was previously President of Unifed Markets, Inc., President of Core Pacific Yamaichi Securities, and Executive Vice President and head of investment banking at American Fronteer Financial. He holds his FINRA Series 7, 63, 65 and 24 licenses and the AAMS designation from the College for Financial Planning. Mr. Holden was educated at the University of Illinois and Millikin University, receiving a B.S. in business administration and economic. He attended the graduate school of management at Worcester Polytechnic University.
Adrien CorbettManaging Director Adrien Corbett is Managing Director of Investment Banking, specializing in Energy (traditional/alternative), Oil and Gas, and Clean Tech financing. He has worked on Wall Street and in international capital markets and financial services for 25 years. He has held executive position with such firms as Silver Leaf Partners in New York, HSBC James Capel, in Tokyo, Morgan Stanley in Miami and the Bahamas, Societe Generale in Hong Kong and Paris, and Nomura Securities in Tokyo. He was previously Managing Partner of Porthaven Energy Group and Managing Director of Unified Markets, Inc., and was an executive with the Financial Times Group in London. Adrien was educated at the University of Leeds (United Kingdom) where he received a M.A. in Economics and Showa University (Tokyo) where he received his MBA. He is fluent in English, French, Spanish and Japanese.
Alan Loewenstein, CFASenior Vice President Alan Loewenstein has worked in the investment industry for over 30 years being associated with American Fund Advisors, a private investment firm, for the past 26 years. He has held many positions including Portfolio Manager, Research Analyst, Trader, and Compliance Officer and was a co-founder of two SPACs. Alan has been quoted many times in the New York Times, Wall Street journal and has appeared on numerous radio programs. Alan received a B.A. in mathematics and an MBA in finance from Rutgers University in New Jersey. In 1984 he received his CFA certification.

Prior to Jesup & Lamont, Karen served as a Managing Director at Bear Stearns in the High Yield Research department for eight years. Over the course of her career, Karen has been both equity and fixed income analyst. Her equity experience includes positions at Alex Brown and Smith Barney. Karen has a CPA and received a MBA from Babson College. Her undergraduate degree was earned in accounting at University of Massachusetts. In addition, Karen holds the Series 7, 63 and 16 licenses.
